I got Lords of Waterdeep
as a 40th birthday present from my coworkers. They know I’m not a big fan of wine, which is the ususal gift.
Since I had my celebration during the weekend I had no time to play it then and I couldn’t stand waiting until our next planned session so I sent a quick message to my friends to see if any of them had the possibility to try it out with me that very evening. Only one of my friends could make it that day but I was as happy as ever.
The game turned out to be really, really fun! Even though I got crushed by my friend we got a sense of what it would be like playing the game once you got to know the mechanics and I can’t wait until the next time I play. Hopefully we will be a few more people then!
